Our Team

L.Healy Ltd. Hitachi LCN 130 Excavator on a mound of earth.

I started out doing labouring, when I enquired about doing an Engineering Apprenticeship, they have been very supportive and took the time and effort to get me on the right pathway.

Whether it is the people in the office or the lads on site, they’ve made it very easy for me to settle in, and even before working for L. Healy Ltd. I heard they had a very positive reputation and after working here for a few years, I see why.

I would definitely recommend joining them

Liam, Engineer Apprentice

L.Healy Ltd. Hitachi LCN 130 Excavator on a mound of earth.

I am into my 43rd year working for Larry [Healy], I joined him in August 1979 as a Machine Driver and been with him ever since. The company has grown over the years, but mutual respect and being surrounded by my fellow workers who know what they’re doing makes it all a lot easier, safer, and enjoyable.

My advice to any new starters would be to come and join us.

Gerry, Plant Operator

L.Healy Ltd. Hitachi LCN 130 Excavator on a mound of earth.

I initially worked at Kier as an apprentice, and that’s where L. Healy Ltd. witnessed my potential and took me on as a groundworker fulltime.

The management is so down to earth, interested and encouraging, and with the support from my colleagues keeps the morale high, so you work better, and you feel valued.

It’s very rare that you get a company like L. Healy Ltd, as a woman and new to construction, they’ve supported me all the way,… you won’t regret working for them.

Estelle, Groundworker

L.Healy Ltd. Hitachi LCN 130 Excavator on a mound of earth.

I started working for L. Healy Ltd. nearly twenty years ago when I was introduced to the company by my Father, at just 16 years old. I started off as a Labourer and now I am the Roads & Sewers Manager. I am surrounded by a good bunch of lads, who will go out of their way to help each other. Over those years we’ve grown, we’ve gotten a better fleet, a new office and easy access to far more detailed information.

My advice to new starters: If you listen, you’ll learn, and you’ll go a long way.

Matthew, Roads & Sewers Manager
